The FP6293 is a high‑efficiency current‑mode boost (step‑up) DC‑DC converter featuring an internal 0.14Ω, 3.5A, 18V power MOSFET and a fixed 1.0 MHz PWM switching frequency. Its internal compensation network minimizes external component count to as few as six, enabling compact and cost‑effective designs. The error amplifier's non‑inverting input is referenced to a precision 0.6V (±2%) voltage reference, while the built‑in soft‑start function effectively limits inrush current during startup. The adjustable output voltage can be set up to 13V, making the device suitable for a wide range of boost applications. Protection features include over‑temperature protection (OTP), over‑voltage protection (OVP), and adjustable over‑current protection (OCP) from 0.5A to 3.5A. Shutdown current is as low as 0.1 µA. Available in space‑saving DFN‑8L and SOP‑8L(EP) packages, the FP6293 is ideal for chargers, LCD displays, digital cameras, handheld devices, and other portable products.
