Description:

The GD30DC1109 is a high efficiency, high frequencysynchronous DC/DC step-down converter. The 100%duty cycle feature provides low dropout operation,extending battery life in portable systems.The internal synchronous switch increases efficiencyand eliminates the need for external schottky diode. Atshutdown mode, the input supply current is less than1µA.The GD30DC1109 operates in force continuousconduction mode(FCCM) during light load conditions.The switching frequency is maintained at an almostconstant level over entire load range and output ripple isvery small.The GD30DC1109 fault protection includes over currentprotection, short circuit protection, under voltage lockoutprotection and thermal shutdown. The Internal soft-startfunction prevents inrush current at turn-on. TheGD30DC1109 is offered in a SOT23-5 package.
