The Goertek SPL07-003 is a high‑accuracy, ultra‑low‑power digital barometric air pressure and temperature sensor in a compact 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.76 mm LGA package, ideal for mobile devices, wearables, and portable navigation systems. The pressure element employs a capacitive sensing principle, ensuring excellent precision across temperature variations. An embedded signal processor delivers 24‑bit pressure and temperature outputs, with individually factory‑calibrated coefficients stored on‑chip for direct conversion to true physical values. The integrated 32‑measurement FIFO allows the host processor to remain in sleep mode longer, significantly reducing system power consumption. Operating from 1.7 V to 3.6 V (VDD) with separate I/O supply down to 1.08 V, the sensor supports both I²C and SPI interfaces. Introduction:

The SPL07-003 is a miniaturized Digital Barometric Air Pressure Sensor with a high accuracy and a lowcurrent consumption. The SPL07-003 is both a pressure and a temperature sensor. The pressure sensorelement is based on a capacitive sensing principle which guarantees a high precision during temperaturechanges. The small package makes the SPL07-003 ideal for mobile applications and wearable devices.The SPL07-003‘s internal signal processor converts the output from the pressure and temperature sensorelements to 24-bit results. Each pressure sensor has been calibrated individually and contains calibrationcoefficients. The coefficients are used in the application to convert the measurement results to truepressure and temperature values.The SPL07-003 has a FIFO that can store the latest 32 measurements. By using the FIFO, the hostprocessor can remain in a sleep mode for a longer period of time between readouts. This can reduce theoverall system power consumption. Sensor measurements and calibration coefficients are availablethrough the serial I2C or SPI interface.
