MICROCHIP ATMEGA2561-16AU Datesheet

The ATmega640/1280/1281/2560/2561 family is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit microcontroller series based on the advanced AVR® RISC architecture. Featuring up to 16 MIPS throughput at 16MHz with 135 powerful instructions, most executed in a single clock cycle, these devices deliver exceptional processing efficiency for embedded control applications. The family offers high-endurance non-volatile memory with up to 256 KBytes of In-System Self-Programmable Flash, 4 KBytes of EEPROM, and 8 KBytes of internal SRAM, with optional external memory expansion up to 64 KBytes. Peripheral integration is extensive, including multiple 8-bit and 16-bit timer/counters with PWM channels (up to 12 channels with programmable resolution from 2 to 16 bits), an 8/16-channel 10-bit ADC, two/four programmable serial USARTs, SPI and 2-wire serial interfaces, a real-time counter with separate oscillator, and an analog comparator.
