The LPS25HB is a piezoresistive absolutepressure sensor which functions as a digitaloutput barometer. The device comprises asensing element and an IC interface whichcommunicates through I2C or SPI from thesensing element to the application.The sensing element, which detects absolutepressure, consists of a suspended membranemanufactured using a dedicated processdeveloped by ST.The LPS25HB is available in a full-mold, holedLGA package (HLGA). It is guaranteed to operateover a temperature range extending from -30 to+105 °C. The package is holed to allow externalpressure to reach the sensing element.
