System-level safety considerations require detection of various fault conditions, which adds to system complexity. The TLC6C5712-Q1 device is a 12-channel constant-current sink LED driver. With 8-bit dot correction and high-accuracy output current, the TLC6C5712-Q1 device is an ideal solution for correcting LED brightness and color temperature variations. The device provides advanced protection and diagnostic features per channel to enhance system-level robustness and simplify safety-oriented designs. Six PWM inputs with programmable mapping support multiple LED color dimming configurations and offer a high dimming ratio. The 16-bit Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) with diagnostic features supports daisy-chaining of multiple devices and simplifies system-level design.
