The TAS5431-Q1 is a mono Class‑D audio amplifier designed for automotive emergency call (eCall), telematics, instrumentation cluster, and infotainment applications. Powered from a 14.4VDC automotive battery, this device delivers up to 8W into a 4Ω load at THD+N ≤ 10%. With high operational voltage tolerance and excellent efficiency, it is ideal for systems requiring start‑stop support or backup battery operation. Integrated load‑dump protection reduces the cost and size of external voltage‑clamp circuits, while onboard load diagnostics report speaker status via I²C.
