The TLIN1028-Q1 is an automotive-grade LIN physical layer transceiver with an integrated low-dropout (LDO) regulator, serving as a complete System Basis Chip (SBC) for LIN node applications. Compliant with LIN 2.2A and ISO/DIS 17987-4, this device supports 12V automotive systems and provides a regulated 3.3V or 5V output rail with up to 125mA of current (DRB/DDA packages) to power microcontrollers, sensors, and other peripherals. The transceiver features an optimized current-limiting waveform-shaping driver to minimize electromagnetic emissions (EME), and converts TXD protocol data to LIN bus signals while receiving and translating bus data to logic-level signals via the open-drain RXD pin. With ultra-low sleep-mode current consumption, wake-up support via LIN bus or EN pin, glitch-free power sequencing, and comprehensive protection including ESD, undervoltage, TXD dominant timeout, thermal shutdown, and fail-safe for unpowered nodes, the TLIN1028-Q1 enables robust and compact LIN node

Description:


The TLIN1028-Q1 is a Local Interconnect Network (LIN) physical layer transceiver compliant with LIN 2.2A and ISO/DIS 17987–4 standards, featuring an integrated low-dropout (LDO) regulator. This LIN system basis chip (SBC) reduces system complexity by providing a 3.3V or 5V voltage rail with up to 70mA (D package) or 125mA (DRB and DDA packages) of current for powering microprocessors, sensors, or other devices. The TLIN1028-Q1 features an optimized current-limiting waveform-shaping driver to reduce electromagnetic emissions (EME). The TLIN1028-Q1 translates LIN protocol data on the TXD input into LIN bus signals. The receiver converts the data stream into logic-level signals that are sent to the microprocessor via the open-drain RXD pin.
